“How Can I Tolerate, Accept, Surrender, and Float?”

It’s all about learning how to tolerate distress!  This is a part of the recovery process we often overlook.  Learning how to accept, allow, and navigate through anxiety, fear, discomfort, and uncertainty is all about understanding the basics of distress tolerance, then finding ways to strengthen your distress tolerance muscles through scaled practice!

Join Drew Linsalata and Joanna Hardis for two hours of lecture, exercises, discussion and small group Q&A on how to practice and improve your ability to move through anxiety, fear, and discomfort.

Attendance is limited to no more than 20 people to encourage discussion and personal interaction.

Who Can Benefit From This Seminar?

If you’ve ever wondered just HOW to accept, surrender, float, and tolerate fear and discomfort this is the place for you. We’ve designed this seminar for anyone struggling to overcome anxiety issues including panic disorder, OCD, agoraphobia, GAD and health anxiety.  Learning the concept of distress tolerance and learning ways to practice building your stress tolerance muscles is important. It can help you better tolerate and navigate through fear, anxiety, discomfort and fear. This will go a long way toward advancing your recovery, and enhancing your life!

Learning how to strengthen your distress tolerance muscles is often the missing piece in the puzzle that helps clarify direction and inform productive actions.

Is This Online, Or In-Person?

This is a live, fee-based online seminar held via Zoom once each month and limited to 20 attendees. All you need is the ability to join a Zoom meeting with a webcam and microphone (your camera and mic must be turned on during the webinar), and a desire to learn in a safe and supportive environment.

“Can You Tell Me More About Distress Tolerance?”

Of course!  Our Tolerating Fear And Discomfort seminar will take you on a deep dive into the concept of distress tolerance and why it matters both in recovery, and in life.  But if this is a new term for you, here’s a podcast episode we did in April of 2022 that will give you an introduction to the topic.  Check it out!
