Kyrsty spent 12 years in her house, trapped by agoraphobia and panic. That’s all changing now. In this podcast episode Kyrsty shares with us how she’s been taking the core concepts of recovery and putting them into practice on a daily basis. Her progress thus far has been faster than she expected, and with a growing number of victories under her belt and an amazing recovery mindset, the sky is the limit!
Motivated by the desire to interact with her nephew and her family, Kyrsty took the concepts we talk about every day, and got to work. She’s spent the time to learn the true nature of the problem. She took the time to build herself a foundation with the skills we use in the recovery process. Now’s she’s refusing to be pushed around, and out doing the hard work of recovery every day. She may struggle at times, and she has more work to do, but armed with understand, knowledge, and a willingness to do what it takes regardless of how difficult it may be, Kyrsty is changing her life.

You may be stuck right now. You may feel hopeless and helpless. But you are not. Kyrsty is living proof that even after many years, meaningful change is possible. It is within your grasp. You have the power. You are capable of recovery, and worthy of it!
Sometimes, we just need someone to shine a light for us to follow. Today, Kyrsty is one of those lights.
