Life is going to include some anxiety producing st Life is going to include some anxiety producing stuff.  The key is your relationship to that anxiety. Disordered anxiety creates a dysfunctional relationship with anxiety focused on the anxious thoughts and sensations themselves rather than on the life situations that need addressing. We learn that we do not have to fear anxiety. We do not have to focus on it. We become free to actually handle life again. It’s quite amazing. 10/10. Would repeat. 😉

Asking for help when sad or grieving or feeling bi Asking for help when sad or grieving or feeling big emotions is OK. Sharing emotional burden is a thing humans do. It’s a good thing. We must be on guard against seeking reassurance for irrational fears, but your emotions are NOT irrational. It is perfectly OK and normal to seek support when you’re handling them.
This is what hope and progress look like. This is This is what hope and progress look like. This is a picture and message from a friend that has been prisoner to her anxiety for years. She’s been working hard. Allowing the anxiety rather than avoiding it. Building a new reaction to it. Changing her relationship to it. Today she went shopping alone to places she hasn’t been in more than 7 years. This is what hope feels like. You can do this too. Everyone can. 💜
